my hair is shit right now. i don't know what to do with it.

cut or grow.

i hate it when i have the same hair for more than a month, cut- or color-wise, and i never get the same haircut twice in a row.

so now what!!!!!

it's difficult because i care about it but i also reeeaaally don't care. if that makes sense.

i think good hair is important but (a) i'm either really into it and will pay to get it looking well-polished or (b) i don't care what it looks like at all and will let anyone cut it that is free and willing. the only must is that it is "easy," or requires almost no styling.

i'm wearing a hat today because the hair on the back of my head was being unruly. i had this problem the first time i had short hair... i think i might have a little cowlick back there that likes to get out of control.


back to school. life will remain calm for another couple of weeks so i will continue to watch movies and tv all day. yesterday i finished harsh times, the machinist, and gattaca. nothing more to say, really.

no movie. instead, went out for a bit and bought a new pair of levi's. 501 for women... the "501 for women" is news to me. i've wanted 501s for years now but the regular ones hang very poorly.

i am into straight leg medium rise dark denim right now. i still like skinny, too, but what i do not like and what i consider now to be very late '90s circa baby doll t-shirts and bell bottoms is low low rise.

tomorrow night i get my hair cut short. i hope to not look too much like a man. especially in my straight leg medium rise dark denim. i feel like when i have short hair i will be forced to wear makeup and skirts all the time as to not confuse zuhairs.
