It's been four months since and I'm still checking the weather... Merci



Back in July, I was in Paris with my family for a couple of days. We visited Merci, the "concept store" whose summer trailblazin' through the blogosphere has since died down, although not by much.

My favorites (this is where I name off pretty much every corner of the store) were the long hallway of secondhand books, the ice cream counter, the furniture showroom, the mini-haberdashery, the children's wing, and--my FAVORITE favorite--the flower shop just outside the courtyard.

Mumcats



aren't these so nice? intricately mummified cats. but the cats themselves aren't as nutty as the other mummified animals sharing this dark little corner of the louvre. fishies, falcons, a ram's head, and a giant alligator. rad!

Mrs. Blue Sky

I'm hoping that my photo-taking anxiety (or is it laziness?) will subside while i'm in SF for the week. In the meantime, here are a few from my trip through Europe. My favorite place was Le Marais district in Paris. I could definitely pack my bags and spend a good chunk of my 20s living there...
